2014 Sottomarino Sangiovese - 91 points

Lake County - $29.00 Retail

“Strong cedar, earth and rosemary aromas meet red- and black-cherry flavors that are focused, concentrated and lingering. This is a muscular, bold wine with an appealing wildland character, firm tannins and good acidity. Best now to 2024.”

Sottomarino 2014 Primitivo (Lake County)

Ripe and concentrated black-fruit flavors give this full-bodied wine a good sense of depth, while firm tannins make it grippy on the palate. It's big and bold, ready to pair with rich indulgent dishes.
